The system collects information about individuals to enable medical assessment for the purpose of assessing fitness for Occupational diving. This information is not passed onto any other agency other than for the purpose of medical assessment. No credit card information is held by the system as this process is undertaken by Windcave.
No information is disclosed to other parties other than through the normal medical referral process.
Diving Hyperbaric Medicine Service is committed to data security and outsources this service to specialist technology providers that use a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, the data is stored in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities secured by the latest in surveillance and security technology. When the system transmits sensitive information (such as personal details), the system protects it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
Payments are processed through DPS Windcave and no credit card details are held by the system. No refunds are payable as once the information has been processed the user is deemed to have entered the assessment for certification.
